A common treatment for illnesses including nausea and insect stings is basil. Ayurvedic and traditional Chinese medicine both make extensive use of them.

Many individuals seek out Ayurveda because of its numerous health advantages and because it is seen as a profound experience. There are many foods and beverages that taste nice, can help the immune system grow, and can cool the stomach. They are also excellent for reducing stress and raising one’s general quality of life.

This basil beverage is one of them. An Instagram post with the recipe was made by Ayurveda lifestyle coach Jennifer Tabrizi, who claimed that this “delicious and refreshing lime-basil drink covers all six of the Ayurvedic tastes,” which are:

  1. Salty
  2. Sweet
  3. Stiffness
  4. Stinging
  5. Sour
  6. Bitter

The ingredients for this beverage are:

  • A handful of basil was carefully washed
  • 1 cup water
  • the zest of 1 lime
  • some shredded ginger
  • 1 tsp coconut sugar
  • extra 2 cups of water

Method:

Blend everything together. After blending the top ingredients, add the extra two glasses of water to improve the yield and slightly muffle the flavor.

Then, to improve the flavor, take a glass and sprinkle salt over the rim. Transfer the liquid there, then enjoy it!

Basil comes in a wide range of kinds around the world, including sweet basil, bush or Greek basil, Thai basil, cinnamon basil, and lettuce basil. According to healthline.com, basil is a well-liked treatment for conditions like nausea and insect stings. Ayurvedic and conventional Chinese medicine both use it extensively.

People choose to consume it in the morning to relieve respiratory issues, such as by putting a drop of honey and it in their tea.
