The yoga instructor provided a number of simple exercises that can improve posture and treat back pain. She said that “some of the most prevalent reasons of back discomfort” included “incorrect posture, slumped shoulders, lack of exercise, aging, etc.”
The celebrity yoga expert shared the following exercises:
Cat Cow Pose:
To accomplish this pose, go down on all fours, take a few deep breaths, and stretch your back as far as it can go.
Bridge pose:
As implied by the name, the bridge pose calls for you to lie on your back and lift your hips. Keep your hand underneath your hips locked in place.
Camel Stance:
To perform the camel pose, you should kneel down and contact the balls of your feet. Make a backbend to do this.
Cobra Stance:
The cobra pose also relieves pressure on the spine and back. You can do it while lying down on a flat surface. Then, stoop backward until you can feel the stretch in your back.
