Anita Hassanandani’s “zero diets” strategy for postpartum weight loss: “I eat everything”

Eat as many wholes, unprocessed foods as you can advise nutritionist and diabetic educator Khushboo Jain Tibrewala.

Anita Hassanandani, who gave birth to baby Aaravv Reddy in February 2021, has been on a long weight loss journey and has just revealed a glimpse of her amazing postpartum transformation.

The Yeh Hai Mohabbatein star teased fans and followers with her “before and after transformation” in an Instagram video. Look at this.

“Being constant is all you need to do. Making progress. There is still a very long way to go. With no diet, mind you! I eat everything,” Anita wrote in the caption of the video, with no mention of her exercise routine.

Her coworkers responded to the post as expected, with actor Rajeev Paul responding, “Super duper awesome @anitahassanandani..you must be inspiring so many new mums.” Love and best wishes to a little boy. Actress Shraddha Arya said, “Woah,” while actress Ankita Lokhande wrote, “Wow.” Mahhi Vij added, “My stunner always.”

It’s all your dedication and hard work, her personal trainer Louloua Ahmedabadwala wrote on her Instagram Stories.

Anita’s efforts were also praised by mudgar training expert and fitness coach Vishal (manku) from Happy Healthy Holy, who wrote: All your hard work and consistency.

Here’s how you may start your postpartum fitness adventure and lose weight without dieting.

The Health Pantry’s founder, the nutritionist and diabetes educator Khushboo Jain Tibrewala, described the postpartum fat loss as “a natural process.” While mentioning a few procedures that can help with fat loss, Tibrewala emphasized that lactation is the best option.

  • Continue feeding your child as long as you can. Fenugreek seeds, carom seeds, fennel seeds, and other traditional treatments can help increase milk supply.
  • Change to traditional foods that don’t include sugar. Ladoos, for instance, can be sweetened alternatively with coconut sugar or dates puree.
  • Stay active all day long.
  • Consume as many wholes, unprocessed foods as you can.

What should you remember?

In order to ensure steady weight loss, Dr. Sushma Pachouri, nutrition and fitness – Advance Plus Coach, advised indianexpress.com to complement exercise with a suitable and healthy meal.

“Protein is a crucial macronutrient that aids in the body’s ability to develop lean muscles. This is why physicians frequently advise eating protein to help the body heal even after childbirth. Additionally, protein controls your appetite by keeping you fuller for a longer period of time. In order to make sure that your daily consumption is being watched, one can include a protein component in each meal of the day. One should eat more than the 1.2 gm/kg suggested daily intake, according to Dr. Pachouri.

However, it is important to understand before beginning that one should not push themselves too hard to lose weight, Nutri4Verve’s principal nutritionist, Shivani Sikri, stated in a previous interview with indianexpress.com. Even if you were in good shape before and during your pregnancy, you shouldn’t push too hard since, because to a hormone called relaxin that is created during pregnancy, your joints are more elastic for many months after birth.
