A leg injury won’t stop Shilpa Shetty from doing what she enjoys most: working out.
The performer, who occasionally posts workouts, healthy eating tips, and various yoga asanas on social media to inspire big fitness and health goals, is currently restricted to a chair due to an injury she sustained on the set of a recent film.
She recently uploaded a video to YouTube in which she can be seen doing various yoga poses while sitting in a chair. She captioned the video, “After 10 days of resting in, I realised no reason is good enough to not stretch. Therefore, inactivity might make you rusty even though the ailment requires me to take it easy for a few weeks. So I made the decision to practise the sequence of Parvatasana, Utthita Parsvakonasana, and Bharadvajasana.
These poses, she continued, are for “anyone who is unable to sit on the floor or has knee or back problems.”
She then returned to Instagram to show off her perseverance and determination to stay active. Keep moving, she captioned the picture of the actor doing some upper-body workouts. Whatever the case, I have been adhering to that philosophy, especially over the last few weeks.
She continued by saying that she was “putting the time to good use” because it would take some more time for her leg to fully recuperate. … made the decision to make sure I stick to a routine that strengthens the upper body.
